The Pre-Kindergarten Schedule


 7:50 –   8:40   Free Play/Socialization – art, kitchen, play dough,                           blocks, puzzles, sand, water, etc.
 8:40 -   8:45   Group clean-up
 8:45 -   9:00   Circle time – prayer, calendar, flag salute and mini                           lesson in math or literacy
 9:00 -   9:40   Extension of mini lesson activities
 9:40 -  10:00  Snack, restroom, individual book choices
10:00 - 10:50  Outdoor play on school playground and organized                            activities
10:50 - 11:00  Transition, restroom

11:00 - 11:15   Circle time – Faith lesson
11:15 - 11:45   Lunch – students eat lunch in the classroom
11:45 - 12:30  Outdoor play on Pre-K playground outside of the 
                     classroom
12:30 - 12:45  Story/restroom
12:45 -  1:40   Nap/rest time
  1:45 -  2:40   Outdoor play or quiet enrichment activities for
                      non-sleepers
  2:40 -  3:00   Closing – pack-up, songs, stories, prayer
  3:00 -  3:15   Dismissal - parents/guardians meet students in the
                      classroom for pick-up (Dismissal on Monday is
                      2:00-2:15)
            3:15   ESS - all remaining students are escorted to ESS
                     for after-school care

This is Mrs. Clark's fourth year teaching Pre-Kindergarten at St. Paul School.  Prior to her time here she has been a teacher, a substitute teacher and a tutor while raising her two daughters.  Mrs. Clark holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Washington State University and she received her teaching credentials from Central Washington University.  In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, knitting and spending time with her family.
