WINTER MAP TESTING
Please remember that this test is NOT a part of your child’s grade, it is a tool used to track their progress. While this is not a test they can study for, there are things you can do to help them prepare for it! You can: -have a discussion with them about how they are competing with themselves to score higher than they did on the last test -make sure they get a good night’s sleep the night before -have them wake up on time the morning of to give them a relaxing start to their day -give them a healthy breakfast on the morning of so their brains are fueled up and ready to go Your child’s testing schedule is below: Mon, January 14th – Language Tues, January 22nd – Math Mon, January 28th – Reading If your child is absent on their testing day they will make it up on the Friday of that week or the week of February 4th.
